Body
The medium to large sized cat has a solid, elongated body with a massive bone structure. The legs are long and muscular, the hind legs are higher than the front legs, the paws are broad and round, with tufts between the toes. The tail is very long (at least as long as the body) and bushy

Head
The head has the shape of an equilateral triangle with a long, straight profile. The chin is firm.

Ears
The ears are very large with a broad base and high on the head such that the outer line of the ears runs in a straight line over the cheeks. They carry lynx-tufts and have ear furnishing

Eyes
The eyes are large, open and slightly oval. Eye colour shall be even and fit harmoniously to the coat colour

Coat
The coat is of medium length. The woolly undercoat is covered by long, glossy, firm and water repellent hairs. The uppercoat covers the back, the flanks and the upper side of the tail completely. The under parts of the body and the back side of the hind legs only have an undercoat.
A long frill, a triangular-shaped beard falling down the cheeks and "knickerbockers" on the hind legs complete the entire appearance

Colour varieties
The colours chocolate and cinnamon, as well as their dilution (lilac and fawn) are not recognized in any combinations (bicolour, tricolour, tabby). The point -factor is also not recognized.
All other colours are recognized. Any amount of white is permitted. The descriptions of colours are listed in the General list of colours.
